I will love you recklessly, because that's how God loves me.

My love for these two will always be reckless            As a worship leader, I come across all sorts of songs that have different impacts on me. One song in particular has been teaching me new lessons nearly every time I hear it or sing it myself. The interesting thing about this song is the bit of debate or controversy if you will that it had stirred up. The song is called Reckless Love and people in the faith community have problems with it for different reasons. Some of the lyrics could be confusing or misinterpreted by those who are singing worshiping along with it. But it's all relative to where your heart and mind are at with God. The bigger issue that people take with the song is the title itself. There are those who have a problem calling God's love reckless. I guess they deem it a little "reckless" to do so.                      Where to start? I could go back in time and give you dark and unfortunate details that have led to this blog. But that seems too cliche. Often times when people decide to start writing and sharing their thoughts with the masses, it's been inspired by something they have gone through. My story is no different. As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a daddy. It started at a very early age. I was always the kid in the family that loved hanging out with the little kids. It could have been because I had two older brothers, and meaning something to the kids that were smaller or younger than myself was a good feeling. When I was 28 years old, my dream came true.
